Finished in silver, this lifetime pass was likely issued to the great Hall of Famer Heinie Manush in the late 1930s. Manush hit better than .300 in 11 full big league seasons and consistently ranked among the game’s top batters throughout the 1920s and ’30s.
Manush’s record included a batting title and four 200-hit seasons in his 17-year career. The left fielder played with six teams after breaking into the majors in 1923 with the Ty Cobb-led Detroit Tigers.
Beautiful piece is engraved, "The National American Major Leagues of Professional Baseball Present This Lifetime Pass to Heinie Manush In Appreciation of Long and Meritorious Service."
High quality piece presents in EX condition with just a bit of wear and tarnish and features a Lambert Bros. Jewelers N.Y. stamp on the back; measures 2.75x4.25" overall.
