Die-cut, easel-backed cardboard advertising sign is for Old Gold cigarettes from the 1930s. Young player resembles football star Red Grange. Sign has brilliant color graphics, and measures a very large 38x50". Advertising reads "Scored with Natural Goodness... Not a Cough in a Carload." This is simply a beauty of a sign and pure Americana. Condition is FR. The seam is weak and has been repaired with tape on both the front and back sides; edge wear noticed. Easel on the back is missing; some paper loss noticed.
