Amazing circa 1956 Carl Furillo game worn fielder's glove. Rawlings tag is no longer on the wrist strap but Furillo's handwritten number "6" in black marker is. Our consignor had the glove re-laced and used baseball glove conditioner and finished with mink oil for softening and prevention of additional wear. Enclosed LOA mentions that Sal Maglie came with Furillo to the home or our consignor's aunt, at which time the glove was given to his brother. Maglie was Furillo's roommate and played on the Dodgers in 1956 and half of 1957; the consensus is this glove was gifted to the consignor's brother in the summer of '56. Notarized LOA included.
