Brilliant Type I photo from 1913 capturing a Polo Grounds ceremony with a giant wreath to honor the team and manager John McGraw for clinching the National League pennant. McGraw and Mathewson are standing side by side at the right of the wreath of this 5x8.5" image on matte stock. Small crease at top and minor stain at top, neither of which touch any of the subjects of this vintage shot. Verso is blank except for part of a stamp from Brown Brothers, as this is another classic from their photo service. Includes PSA LOA.
