Circa 1910s original glass plate negative of Abe Attell also comes with a print from around the same time period, maybe a few years later. Attell, who spent nearly 10 years straight as World Featherweight Champion, is nicely shown in a block-and-counter pose while sparring with Dan Woodman. Negative measures approximately 7x9"; photo is about 6x8" and has a small tear at top, cut at bottom corner, and verso IDs both fighters in pencil along with stamps from noted photo service Brown Brothers, which was originally founded in 1904.
