A GREAT set of 1955 Bowman baseball. High quality all the way, this set of 320 seems to have been put together with cards from Mr. Mint’s famous Paris, Tennessee, find many years ago – the cards are that nice. Back in the day, kids loved seeing their favorite players with a TV set backdrop – a style that remains unique and popular to this day. To spice things up, Bowman decided to add 30 umpires to the set, as well as a handful of error/corrected cards. This great set grades 80% in NM or better condition, with a gloss that only comes with cards that have rarely been touched. If there are any concerns, it would only be that about 1/4 of the cards have slight to moderate centering issues. Other than that – all beauties.
