Rare and outstanding game used jersey from the Baltimore Clippers of the Eastern Hockey League. Not to be confused with the Clippers of the American Hockey League, the ECL Clippers were around from the mid-1940s to mid-50s and did not play during some of those years so this is a very rare style. Heavy weight jersey shows extensive use with several team repairs and also some more modern repairs made as conservation to the jersey, including to the collar and front; with size 48 tag in collar and Gerry Cosby tag inside tail. Wheel logo crest across chest, the 3 on the back in yellow-on-black is a modern replacement as the jersey was found without the number but with a clear outline of the original. The Clippers won their lone EHL Championship in 1948 and it is possible that this jersey was used during that season.
