Vintage 1909 baseball noisemaker includes a portrait of 19th century player "Capt. A.C. Anson." This oval-shaped relic is on heavy cardboard stock, opens into two separate pieces of the same size, measures 3.25x5", and worked by instructing users to "Blow Here" at the top. Folksy cardboard paddle reads "Big Clarinda Fair," with dates in 1909, and promotes "Baseball Games, Wild West Shows, Balloon Races, 55th Iowa Regimental Band, Horse Racing. Cap Anson, Former Manager of the Chicago Cubs, will umpire all the ball games." Unusual piece of baseball Americana is the only one known to exist, with a Hall of Famer featured to combine for a unique offering.
