Great First Day Cover, postmarked from Cooperstown on June 12, 1939 when the Hall of Fame officially opened, beautifully signed in 9/10 black fountain ink in by Honus Wagner. Some discoloration, appears to be from the envelope glue, does not at all impact the crisp autograph. Encapsulated by Beckett with autograph authenticated. This was one of the FDCs issued that year in commemoration of baseball's 100th Anniversary as "America's National Game."
