Classic trio of circa 1910s close-up photos of catcher Jimmy Archer displaying how to give pitch signals. Photos are all 5x7" and have minor residue, apparently for cropping, that does not detract from the images, along with minor holes and blemishes. Notations in pencil on back note the call for "drop," "curve," and "slow ball" pitches, along with stamps from legendary photographer Charles Conlon, along with his signature. Part of the Brown Brothers collection, the service which has performed photo aggregation for over a century.
