Norm Snead's 1965 Pro Bowl game worn suspension helmet with an interesting story. Snead played quarterback for the Eagles from 1964-1970 and was only a Pro Bowler in 1965; this is actually Snead's Eagles game worn helmet that was painted gold (49ers-style) to be worn in the Pro Bowl. As such, we feel it's highly likely that this was the helmet Snead wore during the 1965 regular season with the Eagles. No logos on either side as they were removed, apparently the NFL logo crests worn in the game as glue residue is evident on both sides. "Snead" is handwritten on vintage tape affixed to the inside and his number "16" can also be found twice inside the helmet. Comes with MEARS letter.
