Eddie Gaedel complied an astounding one plate appearance with one base on balls before ending his one game illustrious career with the St. Louis Browns. Amazing 8x9" photograph features the "Rookie" Gaedel getting some help with his spikes from Browns manager Zach Taylor. This very rare image has been recently discovered in the Brown Brothers Archive, stamped accordingly on the verso and features a lengthy hand written notation in red; dated 8/21/51. Two very light creases noticed in the bottom corners do not interfere with the subject matter.
