1920s fresh to market portrait of the famed Notre Dame football player and coach Knute Rockne. Recently discovered in the Brown Brothers archive, this 8x10" example features numerous Brown Brothers stamps on the verso with a machine typed notation that reads, "Knute Rockne, noted Notre Dame football coach, is being starred in a series of Universal short subjects." Some handwriting in pencil and very slight edge wear noticed.
