Veterans Stadium was demolished on March 21, 2004, but six months earlier, the Philadelphia Phillies played their final game in the storied stadium, falling to the Atlanta Braves, 5-2. Dallas Green - who managed the franchise to its first World Series championship, and only one ever at The Vet - in 1980, wore this commemorative home pinstripe jersey and pants during on-field ceremonies prior to that ultimate contest. PHILLIES is stitched on the chest, GREEN and 46 adorn the back and a Veteran's Stadium patch graces the left sleeve. There is a Majestic Size 54 tag on the front tail. Green had long retired as manager by 2003 but was still serving as a senior advisor to the general manager at the time.
