Interesting history - and a dark historical reminder - combine in this 1936 International Bowling Tournament pendant. Measuring approximately 1.5" wide by 1.5" long, this was apparently presented members of the traveling party for Team USA, as representations of the American and Nazi flags are on each side of the front which reads, 1936 5th International Bowling Tournament Berlin. Engraved on the rear is "American Bowlers Tour 1936" - while Bowling was not an official Olympic sport, it was a demonstration sport at the infamous 1936 World Games in Berlin.
