Comes from a family located in Bullard, Texas, whose middle child was diagnosed with Leukemia in January of 2013. During a fundraiser at a local tournament, the Whitehouse High School Wildcats baseball team showed up in support, even though they had a game later that day. Days later, the afflicted child threw out the first pitch for the Regional Championship game - with the 18-year old Mahomes catching - and the Wildcats team eventually signed it, Mahomes is right near the sweet spot with his number "#5" inscription. Sweet spot has handwritten "2013 Whitehouse Wildcats" in unknown hand, Official NFHS ball is signed by Mahomes and 21 other players. Comes with PSA LOA as well as Lelands letter describing provenance.
