Outstanding action shot of Shoeless Joe Jackson, circa 1917, part of the famed Brown Brothers collection. Jackson's eyes intently track the ball as he's depicted in follow-through on his swing in this 6.75x9" photo. Some creasing noticed, appears to have been trimmed as a piece of masking tape runs down the left border. Reverse is jam-packed with Brown Brothers stamps and printer's notations. There aren't many vintage action images of Jackson to begin with, and upon search we have not been able to find this exact shot of the controversial "1919 Black Sox" star, so one can only guess how long it has been since this has seen the light of day. Terrific and historic photo. PSA Type I encapsulated.
