One of baseball's greatest hitters, Tris Speaker is captured in this superb photo from the voluminous Brown Brothers archives. The center fielder compiled a career .345 batting average, including a .318 mark and league-best 33 doubles during the 1918 season when this shot was taken by Charles Conlon. Measures roughly 8x9" and is very clean, with numerous markings on the reverse. PSA Type I encapsulated.
