You are looking at an incredible signed birthday invitation to Jack Johnson's 58th "Gala Birthday Fiesta" that took place at the Cafe de Capri in New York City on April 11th, 1936. Signed on the back by Johnson in 9.5/10 ink and he additionally wrote "Former Heavy Champion of the World, To Melvyn R Jarvis, Good Luck". The card itself is of a moderately heavy stock, not paper thin and measures 2.5x4.5". It appears that the signature was originally displayed with the inscription covered, hence the slight toning. Has been authenticated and encapsulated by PSA.
