Bob Dylan made waves when he went electric in the summer of 1965 at the Newport Folk Festival. That wave continued with his release of Highway 61 Revisited and his 1966 tour. Some despised that he was turning his back on the folk scene, while others applauded his courage to transform into another genre. Dylan made sure to hire talented musicians to back him, as they would later be known as The Band. This show, on February 12 at the Norfolk Municipal Auditorium, was only a week into the tour. Fans were lucky to see him this tour, as Dylan took a three year sabbatical after a motorcycle accident in late 1966. Similar flyers have brought $5000.
