A somewhat unusual force in the late 1960s, The Incredible String Band created a niche as a counterculture psychedelic folk offering. This poster promotes their club performance at the Boston Tea Party on November 23, 1969. Mounted on linen to 14x20", the original card stock poster measures 11x14" and is in NRMT condition, with staple holes in the corner but no other visible imperfections. The Scottish-formed contingent actually performed at Woodstock, but was not included in the official recording of the festival as they requested postponement of their performance due to rain on Friday, and their set did not fit well with the heavier rock acts of the next day.
