Much like many of us used to collect signatures of high school classmates, these four autograph books contain a dizzying assortment of professionals from across the sports spectrum. Literally 1,000+ autographs grace these pages, featuring 1950s baseball, basketball and hockey stars. Just some of the highlights: Book 1 - J. Robinson, T. Williams, Campanella, Stengel, Musial and Hodges (255 autos); Book 2 - J. Robinson, Paige, Musial, Mays, Williams, Hodges, Campanella, Stengel, Mantle, Frisch, Ashburn (347 Autos); Book 3 - J. Robinson, Spahn, J. DiMaggio, Auerbach, Cousy, F. Robinson (252 autos); Book 4: Howe, Mikan, Arizin, Auerbach, Sharman, Combs, Spahn, Mathews, (195 sigs). The books show wear, some pages are loose and many of the autographs are taped over with cellophane tape (to "preserve" them), but this remains quite an impressive selection.
