This stunning bronze plaque shows boxing hero Max Schmeling at the peak of his powers as Heavyweight Champion in 1930, right after he won the title. By Henry Wolf, incised in bronze it reads, "Henry Wolf Sculptor New York 1930." Below in large lettering is "Max Schmeling." Measures 8x6" in beautiful detail, with original patina and simply a great look. This fresh offering came directly out of a New Jersey estate.
