Presented here is a magnificent original oil painting of Jake LaMotta that he actually sat for at age 29. Completed in 1950 when he was World Middleweight Champion, by celebrated artist W.H. Anderson, who painted at the Concord Hotel in upstate New York. The Concord was a training site for many fighters including LaMotta. Oil on canvas with bold color and signed by artist, there are no noticeable flaws, holes or scratches. Still in original frame, cleaned, restored and conserved by Art Restoration, and their letter is included. It is marked on back by the Concord Hotel. A terrific likeness measuring 24x30". This painting was displayed at the Concord and later returned to Vikki LaMotta. Comes with a letter of authenticity from the son of Vikki LaMotta.
