Among the pantheon of jazz legends, few if any can stand aside Louis Armstrong. This collection of ephemera dates from 1959, during a rare tour of Israel. Included is a 28-page program (opening from right-to-left, almost entirely in Hebrew and French), signed inside on their photos by Billy Kyle, Danny Barcelona, Mont Herbert, Trummy Young, Velma Middleton, Peanut Hucko, on verso "To Yourum Louis Armstrong." Also included are two unique, Armstrong-autographed 3.5x5.5" photos welcoming him to Israel, in addition to a Dizzy Gillespie signed promo shot. The program shows some age but is in VG to EX condition. Armstrong's sigs are in green marker, the others are in blue ballpoint pen. A unique keepsake featuring true elites of the genre.
