An amazing collection of 4x5" full-color "from the camera" transparencies, each envelope is stamped "Jack Downey -Dir. of Photography New York World's Fair." These images are original, similar to negatives as they can be blown up to any size. Also includes the Mets' former home - Shea Stadium - which debuted the same year as the 1964 World's Fair - which is depicted in five shots. There are multiple aspects of the Fair and multiple terrific shots of the Unisphere and monorail, as well. Several duplicates are included. The quality of the photography is phenomenal.
