Obtained by Leland's directly from Ricky Bones a few years back, this jersey is from one of the greatest teams ever from a small Caribbean island. Five of the top 10 Puerto Rican players who ultimately finished with the most hits in MLB history were on that team, including Hall of Famer Roberto Alomar, as well as Edgar Martinez, Juan Gonzalez, Bernie Williams, Ruben Sierra, Carlos Baerga and Carmelo Martinez. Nicely made with Puerto Rico 27 on the front, hastily added on the verso is the sponsor Banco Popular with large 27. There are a couple of dirt stains, wear from sliding into bases, and what looks like blood. This shirt looks heavily used but otherwise in great condition. ALSO: Comes with circa 2000-01 Florida Marlins long sleeve black warm-up mesh jersey with "Bones 29" in tag, also obtained from Ricky.
