The "original" Rocky of the ring is the center of attention in this framed (double sided glass) display with a promotional photo and plaque. Marciano's own hand-written notes are on the back of a telegram from Willard Mullin that congratulates the fighter on his championship. The speech was made at Gallagher's Restaurant in New York City on Sept. 25, 1952, and the notes in pen read: "Al Weill deserves a lot of credit for everything that has happened. It wasn't my left or right that won the title, I think it was that man up there looking over my shoulder that did it." The lot also includes seven vintage snapshots of Rocky with his friends and family.
