Great basketball "Jolly Green Giant" Bill Russell humor, also featuring a rookie Gail Goodrich. A Pen and ink cartoon by Karl Hubenthal who was the Williard Mullin of the West Coast. He cartooned mostly sport's themed artwork for Hearst publications, becoming the full-time editorial cartoonist in the 1950s, especially for the Herald Examiner and eventually Hubenthal's work was syndicated to other Hearst publications. From the collection of the esteemed Helms Hall Sports Museum and will come with letter of provenance/authenticity from Lelands.com. Measures 14.5x20.5" and is in VG+ condition.
