This Golden Glove Intercity Amateur Boxing Tournament was one of the earliest events young Cassius Clay ever participated in and, of course, won. With enough bravado to sign "Cassius Clay National Champion" he still was unknown and young enough to be one autograph among many. This is the rarest of rare programs for the Cincinnati Golden Glove Champions vs. Louisville Golden Glove Champions held at the Finneytown High School Gym. Program is 6x9" and has many childlike signatures and writing all over the 20-page book. It is missing a couple of pages inside and has minor soiling and creasing. His signature is on the back page right above an advertisement for "Bud's Pony Key" with a local address and "We Deliver." Comes with a letter from the original owner who was in the 6th grade and went to the event, and had Cassius Clay sign in person on the back cover.
