This stunning silk handkerchief measures 28x24" and is in EX-MT condition. It pictures each of the eight Suburban Handicap winners from 1884-1891 by famous artist Henry Stull. The winner of 1891, Loantaka, is displayed in the middle. A New York Times article dated 7/3/1891 mentions this very piece, that a silk scarf or handkerchief of the Suburban winners was presented as a souvenir of the Club's 1891 meeting. Recently, Belmont Park featured an inferior later-year edition displayed prominently in the Clubhouse.
