The 1919 World Series is the rare exception to the rule that no one remembers who loses a World Series. The Cincinnati Reds were the clear winners that October, but the scandal-marred Chicago White Sox remain more famous due to throwing the Fall Classic for financial gain. From that unforgettable season comes this rarer version of the Reds yearbook, which was issued just prior to the Series and features player pictures and bios, as well as a section in the back to "Make your own record of the World Series games." There is slight surface wear to the front and back covers, but the inside is NRMT. Grades overall VG-EX but displays much nicer.
