"That's one small step for [a] man. One giant leap for mankind," said NASA Astronaut Neil Armstrong upon becoming the first person to step on the moon, which occurred at 2:56 UTC on July 21, 1969. Presented is a great collection of moonwalking NASA astronauts, with ten signed photos out of the 11 USA moonwalking astronauts who followed Armstrong. Of the 12 persons who have ever walked on the moon, all have been USA astronauts. Each of the photos measures 8x10", and it appears that all or most of the photos originated from the NASA program:

1) Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin in a color photo in space gear. This is a particularly valuable signed photo because Aldrin was with Armstrong on the Apollo 11 flight that permitted two astronauts to step on the moon, and Aldrin walked on the moon just after Armstrong. Aldrin signed as "Buzz Aldrin" in a big and bold autograph in blue marker; 2) Charles "Pete" Conrad in a black & white photo of him in astronaut flight gear. Conrad was a member of the Apollo 12 mission. He signed as "Charles Conrad" in flowing, neat script with a black marker; 3) Alan Bean, in a color photo, in astronaut flight gear, sans helmet. Bean, an Apollo 12 crew member, signed a bold autograph in black marker; 4) Edgar Mitchell, in a color photo of his moon walk. Mitchell signed in silver marker and added the inscription "Apollo 14." 5) David Scott, in a color photo of him in flight suit, sans helmet. Scott signed a neat signature in blue marker and added "Apollo 15 CDR. [Commander]." 6) James Irwin, in a color photo of him in tie and jacket, posed next to a small model of Apollo 15. Irwin signed in black ballpoint ink and added the inscription: "To John Buchanon/Best Wishes/Jim Irwin." Irwin, who died on August 8, 1991, was the first of the dozen astronauts who have walked on the moon to pass away. 7) John Young in coat and tie in a black & white photo. Young was on the Apollo 16 mission. Young signed a flowing signature in blue ballpoint. 8) Charles Duke, moonwalking during the Apollo 16 mission in a black & white photo. Duke signed in black marker as "Charlie Duke." 9) Eugene Cernan, in his NASA flight gear in a posed, color photo. Cernan signed in fine tip blue marker and added the inscription: "Apollo XVII [17]." 10) Harrison Schmitt beside the USA flag at the Apollo 17 landing site. Schmitt signed and inscribed the color photo, in fine tip silver marker, as "Harrison H. Schmitt/Apollo 17."

Each of the photos has both a PSA sticker and a PSA/DNA LOA for the signature. The ten signed photographs are in EXCELLENT condition and the signatures average about 8/10.
