Displayed is an album page featuring eighteen (18) signatures from the 1954 Boston Red Sox, including Hall of Fame icon Ted Williams, and Hall of Famer Lou Boudreau. This album page comes from an album of autographs that originated from a Boston Red Sox batboy. In addition, the album page was signed by notables: Jimmy Piersall - an All-Star center fielder in '54, and the subject of the baseball movie Fear Strikes Out (starring Anthony Perkins); Jackie Jensen (right fielder), a football and baseball star at the University of California, and the first man to ever play in all of the following: the World Series, the Rose Bowl, and the Major League All-Star Game; Harry Agganis, a football and baseball star at Boston University, and the first baseman for the Red Sox in 1954-55 before unexpectedly passing away from illness at age 26 in 1955.

Other Red Sox signatures: Sammy White, Billy Goodman, Sid Hudson, Tex Clevenger, Karl Olson, Frank Bolling, Paul Schreiber (hitting coach), Leo Kiely, Frank Sullivan, Willard Nixon, Ted Lepcio Tom Brewer, and Russ Kemmerer. The '54 Red Sox were managed by Boudreau, who was recently retired as a Major League shortstop and was only 36 years old. The team went 69-83, finishing in fourth place in the American League. Williams batted .345 in '54, and he led the AL in OBP (.513), Slugging (.635), OPS (1.148), and walks (136). The album page measures approx. 4.3x6", and 13 signatures are on the front side, and five signatures are on back. Handprinted by an unknown hand in black ink on the front side is "BOSTON RED SOX 1954/#2."

The album page exhibits darkening on both sides, and on top there are three holes used to keep the page in what was likely a loose-leaf type of notebook, and four neatly spaced smaller holes (approx. pinhole size) also on top. The signatures were scripted in blue ballpoint ink and average 8/10. There are some indecipherable markings in black ink on back. This album page has been encapsulated and is PSA/DNA CERTIFIED "AUTHENTIC AUTO." We have other pages from this same autograph album, featuring notable players and teams, within this same auction.
