Jorge Posada Louisville Slugger pro-model (“P320M”) bat dating
from the New York Yankees’ 2009 World Championship season. Graded GU 8 by PSA.
The bat, which measures 34 inches in length and weighs 30.3 ounces, displays
outstanding use, including ball marks, and white tape on the handle that has
been applied in a crisscross manner. There are also two cracks: one in the
handle and one on the back barrel (behind the center brand). Posada enjoyed
another outstanding year in 2009, which was his fifteenth season in pinstripes.
Appearing in 111 games, Posada batted .285 with 22 home runs and 81 RBI to help
lead the Yankees to their second World Championship of the decade. A member of
the Yankees’ famous “Core Four,” Posada retired in 2011 with 275 home runs 1,065
RBI, and a .273 lifetime average. A hologram label from Steiner Sports is affixed
to the barrel, but no corresponding COA accompanies it. LOA from PSA.
