One of the most consistent, durable players in the history of the NHL, Ron Francis' time with the Pittsburgh Penguins proved especially fruitful as he won two Stanley Cups playing alongside Mario Lemieux. This jersey comes from the heart of Francis' tenure with the Penguins, the 1995-96 season, a year after he won the Selke Trophy with the team. Upon his retirement in 2004, Francis appeared near the top of several statistical categories, and currently sits second in all-time assists. He was a four-time All-Star and inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2007. This black, alternate jersey is all-original and shows great use, with the Penguins crest on front and an alternate captain's "A" on the left part of the chest. The number "10" appears on both sleeves and the back, along with "FRANCIS" sewn on a name plate. There is a Center Ice tag in the collar with a size "52" tag alongside it. There are stick marks, fraying, light board burns, pilling and some pulls throughout the jersey, which has been photo-matched to a 1996-97 Upper Deck Ice card.
