This great keepsake hung in the gymnasium Xavier University, celebrating the basketball team's 1958 National Invitational Tournament Championship. Made of blue felt with white lettering, yellow border and tassels on bottom, this was originally obtained from Hank Stein, who was the MVP of that tourney for the Musketeers. Measuring a substantial 58x35", it highlights Stein for his Most Valuable Player award and lists the players and coaches. There is some cracking along the folds, but the banner remains in EX condition. Xavier finished the season at 19-11, defeating Dayton in overtime for the NIT title.
