From Britain's most prestigious event for horses, this particular race card is from 1921, representing iconic sprinter Diadem's last race. The booklet is in high grade NRMT condition, as is the cardboard entry badge for the day. Diadem was one of the most brilliant sprinters seen in England for very many years; so important that in 1946 Ascot Racecourse named a new sprint race in her honor, the Diadem Stakes. Spion Kop, the 1920 Epsom Derby Winner, also appears on the racing card. The booklet is 6x4.5" and 16 pages, while the badge is almost 2" with a pinback.
