Winning the National League pennant last fall has renewed interest in Mets memorabilia. These three jerseys from their late 1970s/Early 1980s down cycle still look good. They are comprised of: a Steve Henderson game worn 1980 Mets jersey, a rare two-button Set 1 with size 42 Rawlings tag and "42 5 80 1" tag in the neck. Also: a Mike Vail game-worn 1976 Rawlings pinstripe jersey with size 40 tag on the tail, Mets and NL Centennial patches on the sleeves and "40 76 6" tag in the neck, and: Lenny Randle game-worn home pinstripe 1978 Mets pants with "31/32 22 78 11" tag, Rawlings size 30 tag and J Mitchell written inside on the pockets and two repairs on the back, one on the front.
