One of the more well detailed Sosnack's, this is literally covered by stats, writing, a glorified biography of the Ferrell family and even wonderful imagery with logos of the Detroit Tigers, St. Louis Browns, Washington Senators and Boston Red Sox. The tiny writing and incredible detail boggles the mind and looks like something Kevin Spacey would have done in the movie "Seven." Ferrell is regarded as one of the best catchers in baseball during the 1930s and 1940s. He played in the first All Star Game (1933), his 1,806 games played as a catcher set the AL longevity record for more than 40 years. A seven-time All-Star, Ferrell was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1984. The ball is in EX-MT condition.
