Hearkening back to the glory days of the beloved Bums of Ebbets Field, this Hillerich and Bradsby Louisville Slugger was wielded by no less than Roy Campanella. A superb example, this dark-grained bat has model G80 stamped on the knob, is 34.5" and weighs a little over 36 ounces. Campy used this very bat during his National League MVP season of 1951, which saw him crash 33 homers while driving in 108 runs. "CAMPANELLA" is boldly engraved in block letters on the barrel as these bats were only made for his use. This specimen shows nice use with grain swelling and slight wood separation on the barrel and a small crack on the handle. Comes with PSA LOA and graded an 8. Roy's 1951 MVP was the first of three he was to earn in a career and life that exudes strength and bravery against the elements of survival.
