This guy basically invented the basketball sneaker for Converse and he basically died on the day he retired. Chuck Taylor changed the design of the shoe to provide enhanced flexibility and support and added the patch to protect the ankle, which became the most famous athletic shoe in the history of pop culture until Air Jordans. The All-Star star logo was then immediately included on the patch. By 1932 Chuck Taylor's name was added to the patch, and the shoe became the Chuck Taylor All-Stars. This signed 3x5" card is in felt tip, with expansive lettering, rating an 8/10.
