This may have once been a museum-quality specimen, because the identifying tag is now gone, lost somehow during the years. The football reads, "Notre Dame Official Spalding Olympic No 137." It is deflated with remnants of tape, which at one point held information on this ball. From the collection of the esteemed Helms Hall Sports Museum and will come with letter of provenance/authenticity from Lelands.com. NOTE: Could very well be a ball used in a major event, or from a special "famous" donor. Many of the Helms pieces were unidentified with their source information having been lost through the years. Through photo analysis we have matched previously unidentified items as very important artifacts. Do your own research and you may have a real treasure.
