This out-of-this-world wooden sign conjures an image of a sea of straw boaters seated in the grandstand on a warm spring day at Fenway Park. Estimated price is .83 tax .17 for a total of $1.00, which corresponds perfectly to Opening Day 1912; the price went up to a whopping $1.10 in 1921. This sign has original green Fenway paint and is just exceptional, one of the only relics from the original stadium we have seen. In chalk on the verso, is written "Grand Stand Entrance," and it has that distressed look that is desired by many an interior designer. Measures 30x12x1". Tickets are only used for reference and not included in the lot.
