One of the men credited with inventing the first successful airplane - Orville Wright - signed this 1929 pilot's license that was issued to a Chester Brown Loomis, Jr., whose name and photo are front and center. The license is in VG condition and was signed by Wright when he was Chairman of the N.A.A. Contest Committee. His signature in black ink rates 6/10. Orville was roughly 57 years old at the time of his signing.
