The man who broke baseball's color barrier - Jackie Robinson - appeared in doll form, circa 1949. Here he is clothed with the iconic "42" on his back in Dodger blue. There is no jacket, hat, bat or box and there are paint chips and cracks on head, feet and hands but the jersey is a thing of beauty, plus the pants and shoes are in good shape. The doll stands approximately 13" tall and was manufactured by Allied-Brand Doll Mfg.
