This sterling silver bowl as presented to Jorge Velasquez in recognition of his victory aboard the illustrious Lady's Secret. Named as the 1986 Horse-of-the-Year and unquestionably the greatest horse ever sired by Secretariat, the Santa Margarita represents the first and only time Velasquez won this race. The bowl stands 4" tall and 8.5" in diameter and is stamped "Tiffany & Co Sterling Silver" on bottom. The inscription reads "Santa Margarita Handicap Santa Anita Park." The silver has yellowed, there is a small dent at the rim and some light scratching. Comes with LOA from Jorge Velasquez.
