Presented is a rare pair of 1970s Nike Americas track spikes. The red, white, and blue spikes are in used condition and show light wear. A white Nike swoosh logo is present on each side of the shoes. An orange swoosh logo is on the tongue of each shoe, with "nike" printed over the logo in black. The shoes include original laces and spikes. The blue insoles are still intact, and there is a "Made In Japan" tag inside the tongues. "7 1/2" is stamped inside of the spikes. The logo on the tongues of the spikes was designed by Carolyn Davidson in 1971, and it is the first logo used by Nike. These shoes are from the early days of Nike and are highly desirable among sneaker collectors.
