Presented are two 1951 New York Yankees multi-signed menus, with a rookie year Mickey Mantle signature and a final signature from Joe DiMaggio. The Mantle signature is on a menu from Vincent's Sorrento Restaurant, from Houston, Texas; the DiMaggio signature is on a menu from The Shamrock Hotel, also in Houston, Texas. The DiMaggio Shamrock Hotel menu has a machine printed date of April 7, 1951, during spring training. The Vincent's Sorrento Restaurant is not dated, and in addition to the Mantle signature, the menu also has five more signatures of the '51 Yankees: Hall of Famers Yogi Berra, and Phil Rizzuto, plus Ed Lopat, Allie Reynolds, and Clint Courtney.

The '51 Yankees, managed by Hall of Famer Casey Stengel, went 98-56 in the regular season to win the '51 pennant, and they defeated the New York Giants 4-2 in games in the World Series. Hall of Famer Mantle played mostly in right field, with Hall of Famer DiMaggio still holding center field in his last season. Mantle batted .263, with 13 home runs and 65 RBIs, while Joltin' Joe batted .267, with 12 homers and 71 RBIs. Berra was the AL MVP, with 27 home runs and 88 RBIs. Rizzuto batted .274, and he led the Yankees in steals, with 18. Lopat went 21-9, and Reynolds was 17-8. On April 7, 1951, the Yankees were in Houston to play an exhibition game on Sunday, April 8th, against the minor league Houston Buffs. It is likely that the Shamrock Hotel was situated close to Vincent's Sorrento Restaurant. Both places were popular with baseball players and celebrities.

The Vincent's Sorrento Restaurant stationery or menu segment measures 6.9x8.5". It has glue or tape remnants, some stains, and a horizontal fold in the middle, with a half inch tear on one end of the fold line. The Mantle and five other Yankee autographs are in blue or black ink. Some of the signatures have very slightly faded. but are still clearly evident. There are two other signatures, not identified. At the bottom of the cut page is very small "St. Peter's", in black ink from an unknown hand. The Mantle and Clint Courtney signatures are about 8/10. The other four Yankee signatures are slightly affected by small areas of glue or tape remnants at the beginning of those signatures.

The cut Shamrock Hotel menu measures approx. 10x14.25". It appears to be front and back sides of a larger menu that have been cut. In part, the top of the menu reads, "Shamrock Champagne Cocktail 1.50". The back of the menu has an image of film star and singer Kathryn Grayson and had promotional material about her appearance at the Sharrock Hotel. This included portion of the menu has some foxing and stains, some small paper loss near the edge, some crinkling, small folds, and uneven edges. Joe DiMaggio signed the menu near the back, top corner, in a neat, flowing signature. Both the Shamrock Hotel partial menu and the Vincent's Sorrento Restaurant stationery cut come with a PSA LOA for the signatures.
