Unlined index card signed by Hall of Fame Negro League pitcher Hilton Smith. Smith has inscribed the card "Hilton Smith pitcher KC Monarchs." Both the inscription and signature have been scripted in blue ink and grade 9/10. Smith's signature is scarce today because he died in 1983 but wasn't elected to the Hall of Fame until 2001. This card was obtained by our consignor's husband personally at a Negro League signing show in the 1970s and has been in the family's possession since that time. The card (5x3") remains in Near Mint condition. Hologram label from PSA affixed to the card.
